Forty-four years of the female form in movement.

Trained in the Fauvist tradition in Quebec, Colette Hébert built a career pouring incompatible materials onto aluminum recycled from newspaper presses, her work following collectors across two decades of galleries from Montreal to Provincetown to Miami.

Then she chose a new canvas: she became a United States Tango Champion and a finalist at the world championships in Buenos Aires, painting with her feet for twenty years before a single commission brought her back to the studio.

She calls that return a resurrection.
